I am now a Phd student in Ghent university under the advisement of Prof. Lieven Eeckhout. My research interests include GPU Architecture modeling and optimization and Reliability on Network-on-Chips.

Research on GPU analytical performance model

  • Investigating different performance behavior of memory divergent and non-memory divergent GPU application
  • Proposed a memory divergence model (MDM)
  • Our MDM model significantly increase prediction accuracy compared to state-of-art GPU analytical model

    Research on NoC congestion problem in GPUs

  • Observed inter-CTA locality in GPU applications
  • Proposed a intra-cluster colasecing (ICC) unit to track and colaesce misses from different SMs in a cluster to reduce NoC pressure
  • Analyzed interaction between different CTA scheduling policy and ICC unit
